Since PayPal has changed the way it integrates with eCommerce sites I am seeing a rise in my clients requesting the use of using PayPal Express on their websites. However, by default collecting the purchasers phone number using PayPal Express is turned off. Most people need to collect the phone numbers of their customers. Here are the instructions on how to require a phone number for PayPal Express Checkout:
Log into your PayPal account, click on the icon of a person to the far upper right>select (1) Profile and Settings>(2) My Selling Tools> (3) Website preferences click on Update
Scroll to almost the bottom of that page to the section of Contact Telephone Number>click on the (4) On (required field)> (5) SAVE
